Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with left-sided heart failure where the heart muscle is weakened (specifically the types known as HFrEF or HFmEF).
- People who are physically able, mentally able, and able to communicate in the study language well enough to take part in all parts of the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose heart failure is caused by a treatable underlying condition, such as a thyroid problem or severe anaemia.

- People who have another health condition that means their doctor has advised them to either strictly limit or have no limits on how much fluid they drink.
