Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer) according to recognised international diagnostic guidelines.
- People whose liver cancer has been classified as stage C using the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) staging system.

- People who have not yet received any treatment for their liver cancer.
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured using standard imaging criteria.
- People who are in good general physical condition, with a performance score of 0 or 1 on the ECOG scale (a medical scale measuring how well a person can carry out daily activities) (confirm with trial site).
- People whose liver function scores at 7 or below on the Child-Pugh scale, which is a measure of liver health (confirm with trial site).
- People who are willing to take part voluntarily, sign a consent form, and attend follow-up appointments.
- People whose blood, liver, and kidney function results meet the required levels set out by the trial (confirm with trial site for specific values).
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose liver cancer has been confirmed by biopsy to be a specific rare subtype, including fibrolamellar, sarcomatoid, or a mixed liver cancer type.
- People who have previously had a liver transplant.
- People who have a history of another type of cancer.
- People who have a history of severe mental illness.
- People who have serious uncontrolled complications related to liver disease, such as confusion caused by liver failure, kidney failure linked to liver disease, or uncontrolled fluid build-up in the abdomen, lungs, or around the heart.
- People who have active bleeding, problems with blood clotting, or who are currently taking blood-thinning or clot-dissolving medications.
- People who the trial investigators determine are unable to participate for other medical or safety reasons (confirm with trial site).
