- People who attended RuiJin Hospital for an ultrasound heart scan (called an echocardiogram)
- People who have signed and dated a consent form agreeing to take part
- People who are willing to follow all the study steps and take part in the full process
- People who have already completed their ultrasound heart scan
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People whose heart rhythm recording shows at least 8 consecutive normal, steady heartbeat cycles
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a pacemaker fitted
- People who have a complete blockage in the heart's left electrical pathway, or whose heart's electrical signal (QRS wave) is wider than 120 milliseconds on a heart tracing (confirm with trial site)
- People who have damaged skin on the left side of their chest, or who have an allergy to adhesive patches
- People who do not wish to take part in the trial
