Who may be able to join

  • People aged 21 years or older.
  • People with a confirmed diagnosis of HER2-positive cancer, based on laboratory testing of tumour tissue (specific testing methods are used to confirm HER2 status).
  • For the first phase of the trial: people with HER2-positive breast cancer, stomach (gastric) cancer, or other HER2-positive solid tumours that have not responded to previous treatments.
  • For the second phase of the trial: people with HER2-positive breast cancer.
  • People with a good general level of physical function, rated 0 or 1 on a standard medical scale (meaning fully active or able to carry out light activities).
  • People whose cancer can be measured or assessed using standard imaging criteria.
  • People with an estimated life expectancy of at least 12 weeks.
  • People with HER2-positive breast cancer who have already tried and not responded to at least two prior HER2-targeted treatments for advanced or metastatic disease (relapsing within 6 months of completing an earlier HER2-targeted treatment course counts as one prior line).
  • People with HER2-positive stomach cancer who have already tried and not responded to at least one HER2-targeted treatment.
  • People with other HER2-positive solid tumours (not breast or stomach) where no standard treatments are available, or who have already tried standard treatments without success or were unable to tolerate them.
  • People who have recovered from side effects caused by previous cancer treatments.
  • People whose heart is pumping at 50% or more of its normal capacity, based on a heart scan.
  • People with adequate bone marrow, liver, and kidney function, confirmed through blood tests (confirm with trial site for specific values required).
  • People willing and able to give signed informed consent, either personally or through a legal representative.
  • People who are able to follow the study procedures and attend required visits.
  • For specific groups within the trial (cohorts 3, 4, and 5): people with a past history of blood clots in the veins may be considered eligible, as long as they are currently receiving appropriate blood-thinning medication.
