Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults over 18 years of age, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with heart failure (either with reduced or preserved pumping function), confirmed by a heart ultrasound (echocardiogram)
- People whose heart failure causes symptoms such as breathlessness or fatigue during mild to moderate activity (classified as NYHA Class II or III)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a heart attack within the last 4 weeks
- People with serious heart valve problems
- People with certain dangerous irregular heart rhythms
- People with neurological or bone/joint conditions that limit movement, or those who are unable to walk
- People with cognitive (thinking or memory) disorders
- People whose other health conditions are not well controlled
- People who are already taking part in a structured exercise program
- People who are currently pregnant
- People whose heart failure causes severe symptoms even at rest (classified as NYHA Class IV)
- People who are unable or unwilling to give their formal agreement to participate in the trial
