Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing to give their agreement to participate and sign a consent form through an online system called REDCap

- People who have at least one of the following risk factors for HIV: men who have sex with men, having multiple sexual partners, or using intravenous (injected) drugs

- People who already have HIV
- People who are currently taking part in another HIV study or another study involving text messages
- Women who report having sexual contact only with other women
- People who do not have a mobile phone or other device that can receive text messages from a service called Agile Health
- People whose mobile phone plan does not include unlimited text messaging
- People who have not sent or received any text messages at least once in the past month
- People who score 2 or below on a short reading ability screening question
