Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been admitted to hospital with confirmed or suspected coronary heart disease (a condition affecting the blood vessels of the heart), and who also have at least one of the following: a history of a procedure to open blocked heart arteries (such as a stent or bypass surgery); a previous heart attack; a previous heart scan showing a significant blockage in a major heart artery; chest pain with a high likelihood of being caused by heart disease; blood test results showing the heart muscle is not getting enough blood; or a special heart CT scan showing a blockage of 30% or more in a major heart artery
- People who have had at least one imaging test of the heart arteries (such as a CT scan, an ultrasound probe inside the artery, or a light-based camera inside the artery) AND at least one test measuring blood flow through the heart arteries
- People who have given written agreement to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a history of mental illness, or drug or alcohol misuse, or anyone who is unable to attend follow-up visits for any reason
- People whose life expectancy is less than one year
- People who are pregnant or who plan to become pregnant within the next year
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- People considered unsuitable for the trial for other reasons, as decided by the doctor running the trial (confirm with trial site)
