Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You are on the waiting list for a liver transplant in France for liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma, or HCC), or you are currently being assessed for a transplant under French health authority (Agence de Biomédecine) rules
- Your liver cancer may have already been treated before, or it may be newly diagnosed and untreated
- You are considered suitable for a type of focused radiation treatment called stereotactic radiotherapy, based on the following:
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is at an acceptable level (as measured by a standard medical score called ECOG ≤ 2) (confirm with trial site)
- Your liver function is at an acceptable level (as measured by a standard medical score called Child-Pugh ≤ B7) (confirm with trial site)
- You have between 1 and 3 liver tumours
- Your largest tumour is smaller than 5 cm
- The healthy part of your liver that would remain is large enough (at least 700 ml in volume), as measured at your first visit
- You have health insurance coverage in France
- You are willing and able to give written consent to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to follow the study procedures and requirements
- You are under a legal guardianship or similar supervised care arrangement
- You are pregnant (confirmed by a urine or blood test)
