Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (a condition where the sinuses are chronically inflamed and nasal polyps have grown), confirmed using standard medical guidelines
• Your nasal polyps show a high level of a specific type of immune cell (eosinophils make up more than 27% of the cells found in the tissue)
• OR you are having surgery to straighten a deviated nasal septum (a crooked wall inside the nose) and have no other nasal conditions — this would be as a comparison/control participant
• You have stopped taking steroid medications (whether swallowed or inhaled as a spray) and leukotriene-blocking medications for at least 4 weeks before your biopsy or surgery

Who may not be able to join:

• You have been diagnosed with any of the following: polyps in the back of the upper jaw sinus, cystic fibrosis, fungal sinus infection, a condition affecting how the tiny hairs in your airways move (primary ciliary dyskinesia), hay fever/allergic rhinitis, a weakened immune system, or a blood clotting disorder
• You have a sensitivity or intolerance to aspirin that causes nasal/respiratory symptoms (sometimes called AERD or aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease)
• You are a smoker
• You are pregnant
