Who might be able to join this trial:
- The mother must give her own voluntary and informed agreement to take part in the study (if she is participating herself)

- Mothers who are experiencing a medical emergency at the time of assessment that has not been resolved before enrolment
- Cases where the baby was stillborn
- Babies who need emergency medical care (such as resuscitation, intensive care after birth, or treatment for severe jaundice), or babies born with a serious physical condition
- Cases where the doctor responsible for the mother's or baby's care believes that taking part in the study could cause unacceptable risk or hardship — for example, if the baby has a significant birth condition, a serious health problem, or a very low birth weight (under 1,500 grams)
- Families or individuals who the lead researcher believes are unlikely to be able to follow the study requirements
