Who might be able to join this trial:
- People for whom the local heart team has determined that a procedure to open a completely blocked coronary artery (called a CTO PCI) is medically appropriate, based on symptoms such as chest pain or proven reduced blood flow or living heart tissue in the affected area.
- People whose completely blocked coronary artery is in a natural (non-stented) blood vessel, confirmed by an invasive heart imaging procedure.
- People who have given their formal written agreement to take part in the study.
Who may not be able to join:

- People who have tested positive for pregnancy or who are currently breastfeeding.

- People whose blocked artery would need to be reopened using specific advanced techniques involving deliberate dissection and re-entry of the artery wall (confirm with trial site).
