- You already have, or are planned to have, a way of measuring how well your heart is pumping blood (called cardiac output), such as a special heart catheter or an ultrasound of the heart (echocardiogram).
Who may not be able to join:
- You are under 18 years of age.
- You are pregnant.
- It is expected that you will only need the Impella heart pump for less than 24 hours.
