Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People with normal hearing
- People who have at least one specific small bone (the incus or the tip of the malleus, called the umbo) visible when a doctor looks inside the ear with a small light and camera tool

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose hearing test results show hearing loss beyond a certain level across several pitches or frequencies
- People whose hearing test shows a significant difference between how sound travels through the air versus through the bone of the skull, which can indicate a middle ear problem (confirm with trial site)
- People who have had an ear infection in the past 3 months
- People who have had surgery on the middle ear in the past 5 years
- People who have had a hole in their eardrum in the past 5 years
- People who have received medical treatment for any ear-related condition in the past 5 years
- People whose ear examination shows signs of any abnormality, such as scarring, inflammation, fungal infection, fluid, perforation, or other ear problems
