Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been confirmed to have liver cancer that has spread (metastatic), either through a tissue biopsy or through specific patterns seen on a CT scan or MRI, and for whom surgery is not an option
- People who are generally able to carry out daily activities with little to no restriction (as measured by a standard medical scale called ECOG Performance Status, scored 0 or 1)

- People who have serious complications related to liver disease, such as confusion caused by liver failure (hepatic encephalopathy), fluid in the abdomen that cannot be controlled (refractory ascites), or bleeding from swollen veins in the oesophagus
- People who have previously had part of their liver surgically removed
- People who have already received a particular liver treatment called TACE (a procedure that delivers treatment directly to liver tumours through blood vessels) at another hospital or clinic
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated as poor on the standard ECOG scale (score greater than 1)
