Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) according to recognised medical guidelines
  • Your overall disease impact score (as rated by your doctor) is 40mm or higher on a standard scale
  • You are between 18 and 64 years old
  • You are motivated and willing to take part in the intervention

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your RA medication (called a DMARD) has been changed within the last 8 weeks
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic widespread pain or fibromyalgia
  • You currently have an active infection
  • You have severe asthma
  • You have severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a serious lung condition) (confirm with trial site)
  • You have an unstable heart condition
  • You are currently receiving intensive physiotherapy beyond standard care
  • You are currently receiving electrostimulation therapy
  • You are currently receiving motivation training
  • You are a smoker
  • You currently have a fever
  • Your doctor considers your pain or fatigue to be a side effect of your treatment
  • You have another autoimmune disease
  • You have a diagnosed mental health condition
  • You are receiving any other non-medication-based therapies that your doctor thinks could affect your RA
  • You have any other health condition that, in the investigator's opinion, could affect the trial or its results (confirm with trial site)
  • You have previously used any health apps specifically related to managing rheumatoid arthritis
