Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been clinically diagnosed with Dorsal Myofascial Pain Syndrome related to trigger points in the rhomboid and trapezius muscles (muscles in the upper back and shoulders).
- People whose shoulder pain rates 6 or higher on a 10-point pain scale.
- People who are able to read and write.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had surgery on their spine at any point in the past.
- People who have skin damage, muscle wasting, or scarring in the area around their back.
- People who have received physiotherapy targeting the back or lower back within the last 6 months.
- People who have had an interventional procedure (such as an injection or similar treatment) for back or lower back pain within the last 3 months.

- People who are unable to avoid using steroid or anti-inflammatory medications (such as ibuprofen or similar drugs) during the treatment period.
