- People who are found to have depression and/or anxiety at the start of the trial, based on a screening questionnaire called the PRIME-MD.
- People who live outside of Spain.
- People who have a serious mental health condition (such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, or addiction), a terminal illness, or a condition affecting memory and thinking (such as dementia).
- People who have difficulty understanding Spanish.
