Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You have been diagnosed with liver cancer linked to viral hepatitis or cirrhosis, confirmed through scans (such as CT or MRI) or a tissue sample/biopsy, following specific medical guidelines

- You have severe confusion or brain problems caused by liver disease (hepatic encephalopathy)
- You have moderate to severe high blood pressure in the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension, WHO Grade III–IV)
- You have had a serious allergic reaction to contrast dye used in scans
- You have a permanent abnormal connection between certain blood vessels in your liver (confirm with trial site)
- You have a specific uncommon variation in the structure of your portal vein (confirm with trial site)
- Your cancer has spread to areas outside the liver
- You currently have active hepatitis or a serious ongoing infection
- Your cancer has spread widely and your expected survival is less than 3 months
- Your kidneys are not working well enough (based on specific blood test results — confirm with trial site)
- Your white blood cell count or platelet count is too low and cannot be improved with treatment
- You are not healthy enough to safely undergo surgery and general anesthesia (due to serious heart, lung, or brain/stroke conditions)
- You have a serious mental health condition
- The trial doctors have another reason they feel makes participation unsuitable for you
