Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a primary cancer in the upper abdomen (such as pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer, or liver cancer), or cancer that has spread to the upper abdomen (including the liver, adrenal glands, or nearby lymph nodes), and who are scheduled to receive a type of targeted radiation treatment called SBRT.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had radiation therapy to the liver.
- People for whom the use of an iodine-based dye (contrast) given through a vein during a CT scan is not medically safe — for example, due to kidney problems or a severe allergy that cannot be managed with pre-treatment medication.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or women who are capable of becoming pregnant and are unable or unwilling to use adequate contraception during the radiation treatment period.
- People who are unable to fast (go without eating for a period of time).
