Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are currently receiving care at an HIV clinic in Alabama
- People who have reported misusing opioids and/or stimulants
- People who are 18 years of age or older
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have received substance use disorder treatment or care from a provider other than their HIV clinic or HIV doctor in the last 3 months
- People who are not able to take part in interviews on their own without assistance, for example due to cognitive difficulties
- People who are currently experiencing psychosis (a loss of contact with reality, such as hallucinations or delusions)
- People who are currently at risk of suicide, including those who have recently attempted suicide or are experiencing thoughts of suicide
