Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), either confirmed by a tissue sample or based on established medical guidelines
- Your cancer has not spread to other parts of the body
- Surgery, liver transplant, or ablation treatment are not suitable options for you, but a procedure called TACE (a treatment that blocks blood supply to the tumour) is possible
- Your liver is still functioning reasonably well, as measured by a scoring system called Child Pugh class A (confirm with trial site)
- You are able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation, based on a standard fitness scale

- You have previously had a liver transplant
- You have a history of a condition called hepatic encephalopathy, where liver problems affect brain function
- You have high blood pressure that is not currently under control
- You have had a blood clot in a deep vein within the last 3 months
- You have had a significant bleeding episode within the last 6 months
- You have both hepatitis B and hepatitis C infections at the same time
