Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with gastroparesis (a condition where the stomach empties food more slowly than normal)
- You have had a specific stomach-emptying test (either a breath test using a substance called 13C octanoic acid, or a nuclear medicine scan of the stomach lasting at least 4 hours) done within the last 12 months
- You are 18 years old or older
Who may not be able to join:
- You are under 18 years old
- You have had stomach surgery in the past that involved removing part of the lower stomach or the valve between the stomach and small intestine
- You have had a surgical procedure (either open or keyhole surgery) to cut the muscle around the stomach's outlet valve
- You have had gastric bypass surgery
- You are currently taking opioid medications (such as strong prescription painkillers)
- You are currently pregnant
