Who might be able to join this trial:

Who may not be able to join:
- You had a serious type of heart attack (STEMI) within the last 3 days
- You are currently in a state of severe heart failure causing dangerously low blood pressure (cardiogenic shock)
- You have had a stent procedure (PCI) within the past year, or you have ever had bypass surgery (CABG) at any point in your life
- Your doctors are planning to do both a stent procedure and bypass surgery together as a combined treatment
- Your doctors are only planning to treat a single blocked artery (unless it is just the left main artery)
- You currently need, or are expected to need within 3 years, any other heart procedure besides treating the blocked arteries
- You are pregnant, or you plan to become pregnant within 1 year of joining the study (women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test within 1 week before joining)
- You are unable or unwilling to take two blood-thinning medications together for at least 3 months (or 6 months if you recently had a heart event with elevated troponin levels) (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently taking part in another clinical study that has not yet finished
- You have a non-heart-related health condition that means you are not expected to live for at least 3 more years
- You have any condition that might make it hard to follow the study's requirements over 10 years, such as a cognitive disability, substance use issues, or plans to move abroad
