  • Your baby is 9 months old at the time of enrollment
  • Your baby was born at a normal weight (between 5.5 and 10 lbs) and after a typical length pregnancy (between 36 and 41 weeks)
  • You are able and willing to come back for follow-up visits at 3 and 6 months from enrollment (for example, you do not have plans to move away from the area)

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your baby was born prematurely (before 36 weeks of pregnancy)
  • Your baby is currently receiving services for developmental delays
  • Your baby has a visual or movement-related disability
  • Your baby scores below a certain level on thinking and language assessments given at the first visit (confirm with trial site)
  • Your baby scores below a certain level on movement and motor skill assessments given at the first visit (confirm with trial site)
  • Your baby has traveled across more than one time zone within the 2 weeks before testing
  • Your baby has a fever or signs of a respiratory illness (such as a cold) at the time of testing
  • Your baby has a physical condition that would interfere with assessments, such as a vision or hearing impairment
  • Your baby has a history of a neurological condition, such as seizures, a brain tumor, or a stroke
