• People who are unable to hold their breath (which is required during the scan)
• People who are pregnant
• People who have irregular heart rhythms (cardiac arrhythmias)
• People who have a pacemaker or an implantable heart device (such as a defibrillator)
• People who have medical reasons preventing them from taking certain medications used during testing, including sublingual nitrates, beta-blockers, or adenosine
