- People who have been admitted to hospital with heart failure that has gotten worse, with symptoms such as shortness of breath, fluid build-up (such as swelling), or signs of congestion in the lungs, along with elevated levels of a specific heart-stress marker in the blood (NT-proBNP) measured at the screening stage

Who may not be able to join:
- People who, due to serious other health conditions, mental health or social difficulties, or a past history of not following medical instructions, may not be able to understand or follow the trial's requirements and check-in procedures
- People who are not able to understand Norwegian
- People who live permanently in a nursing home and are not expected to survive for more than 6 months
