Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are over 65 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with a type of heart condition called acute coronary syndrome (this includes unstable angina, or a heart attack with or without a specific pattern on a heart tracing test)

- People who have had a stroke within the past six months
- People who are currently experiencing active bleeding
- People with known significant abnormalities in their blood (confirm with trial site)
- People with known low platelet levels or low red blood cell levels (anaemia) beyond a certain threshold (confirm with trial site for specific values)
- People with active cancer
- People who are currently taking blood-thinning tablets by mouth (oral anticoagulants, such as warfarin)
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial
- People whom the trial doctor considers unsuitable for the study for any other reason
