Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 30 and 50 years old
- People who have completed at least 8 years of schooling
- People who speak Xhosa fluently
- People who are HIV-positive
- People who are currently taking antiretroviral therapy (ART), which is medication used to treat HIV
- People who are able to read and sign a consent form agreeing to take part
- People who are willing and able to attend two assessment sessions, at least 20 sessions of a cognitive rehabilitation program (each 30 minutes long), and 10 additional brain health training sessions, all over a period of five weeks

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a significant neurological or psychiatric condition, such as schizophrenia, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, multiple sclerosis, or an intellectual disability — the trial team will check for these during the screening process
- People with other conditions that could affect thinking, memory, or the ability to take part consistently over 7 weeks — for example, people who are legally blind or deaf, people currently receiving radiation or chemotherapy, or people who have had a brain injury that caused loss of consciousness for more than 30 minutes
