Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been newly diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) and have not yet received any treatment for it
- Your tumor is considered larger than usual guidelines allow for standard treatment — either one tumor larger than 5 cm, or 2–3 tumors where the largest is bigger than 3 cm — but your cancer may still be removable by surgery

- You are in good overall physical health, able to carry out normal daily activities with no significant limitations

- Your blood counts, liver function, and kidney function all meet specific healthy levels as measured by blood tests (confirm with trial site)
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form, take medications as required, and attend follow-up appointments as set out in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have serious problems with your heart, lungs, kidneys, or other major organs, or you have an active infection (other than hepatitis) or other serious health conditions that would make treatment unsafe
- You have a medical reason why surgery or immunotherapy (treatments that work with your immune system) would not be suitable for you
- You have had another type of cancer in the past
- You have a disease affecting your immune system, or you need to take steroid medications long-term for any condition
- You are known or believed to be allergic to the study drug or any other medicines used in this trial
- You have previously had an organ transplant
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- There are other factors that the trial team believes could affect your participation or the results of the study (confirm with trial site)
- You are unwilling to attend follow-up appointments as required or unwilling to sign the consent form
