- People who have a confirmed diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer)

- People whose heart or kidneys are not functioning well enough to tolerate the planned treatments
- People who have a history of another type of cancer
- People with an infection that cannot be controlled
- People with a history of HIV
- People who have had an organ or cell transplant in the past
- People whose blood clotting time is significantly slower than normal, beyond a set threshold (confirm with trial site)
