Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been assessed by doctors at the trial centre as suitable for a procedure called G-POEM (a minimally invasive treatment for a stomach condition called gastroparesis)
Who may not be able to join:
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- Your gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying) was caused by a spinal cord injury, as this makes a required test difficult to carry out
- You are unable to have a specific stomach monitoring test done — this could apply if you have a history of severe skin allergies or sensitivity to creams or lotions, if the skin on your upper abdomen is damaged, has wounds, or is inflamed, or if you are unable to lie still in a relaxed, reclined position for the length of the test
- You currently have any drains or tubes in your abdomen
