Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older who are willing to sign a written consent form, both male and female.
- People who have been diagnosed with HIV for at least 12 months at the time of joining the trial.

- People who have previously had HIV drug resistance testing and are known to have resistance to either cabotegravir or rilpivirine (the drugs used in this trial).
- People who are unable to stay in regular contact with the research team throughout the study.
- People who carry the hepatitis B virus and for whom hepatitis B treatment cannot be provided during the period of switching to the long-acting injectable medication.
- People who have buttock fillers.
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the trial.
