Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 18 and 70 years of age
- People who have had a liver examination performed before an ultrasound-guided liver biopsy or surgery
- People whose liver tumor can be seen clearly on a standard ultrasound scan
- People whose largest tumor image has been saved in a specific medical image format (called DICOM) for use in the study
- People who have received a confirmed tissue-based diagnosis of their liver tumor, either through an ultrasound-guided biopsy or surgical removal
- People whose routine clinical and ultrasound data was collected within 7 days of their tissue-based diagnosis
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose tissue-based diagnosis is not available or cannot be obtained
- People whose liver tumors have spread to the liver from another part of the body (known as secondary or metastatic tumors)
- People whose ultrasound images are of poor quality
- People who have previously had liver surgery, a procedure to destroy a tumor through the skin, radiation treatment, treatment delivered through the blood vessels, systemic (whole-body) therapies, or a liver transplant
