  • People who have other rheumatic or autoimmune conditions, such as lupus, fibromyalgia, or Sjögren's syndrome
  • People who are currently being treated with steroids, sleeping pills, antidepressants, or antipsychotic medications
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who are unable to tolerate a treatment that involves mild electrical stimulation applied to the outer ear through the skin (confirm with trial site if unsure what this involves)
