Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with primary (first-occurring) liver cancer (HCC), confirmed by biopsy or by standard clinical guidelines
- People whose liver cancer has spread to a small number of sites (called oligometastasis), with the spread detected within three months of the liver cancer diagnosis
- People with no more than five metastatic tumour sites, involving no more than two organs, where each tumour measures 5 cm or smaller in size
- People who have already received a combination of Lenvatinib and a PD-1 inhibitor (a type of immunotherapy) as their first treatment for at least 3 months, with the liver tumours stable or responding to treatment and the spread not getting worse
- People who have already undergone a liver-directed procedure such as TACE (a treatment that delivers chemotherapy directly to the liver via blood vessels) or HAIC (a similar chemotherapy delivery method)
- People whose liver is functioning at a level classified as Child-Pugh A or B (a measure of liver health), and who are largely able to carry out daily activities (confirm with trial site)
- People with no history of any other type of cancer
- People with a life expectancy of more than 3 months
- People who have agreed to take part in the trial
- People whose blood test results meet specific levels for white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, liver function, and kidney function (confirm with trial site for exact values)
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose liver cancer has come back after a previous occurrence (recurrent HCC)
- People who received Lenvatinib and a PD-1 inhibitor as a second-line treatment (i.e., after a different first treatment had already been tried)
- People younger than 18 years or older than 75 years
- People whose liver cancer has spread to more than five sites in the body
- People whose liver cancer did not respond to Lenvatinib
- People with any metastatic tumour larger than 5 cm
- People with a life expectancy of less than 3 months
