Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 20 and 60 years old who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia syndrome (a condition causing widespread pain) based on the 2013 ACR (American College of Rheumatology) diagnostic guidelines
- People who have also been diagnosed with a long-term muscle pain condition in the neck area, called cervical chronic myofascial pain syndrome, based on established diagnostic criteria

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with nerve compression or spinal cord problems in the neck, an active local or widespread infection, or who have received treatment for muscle pain syndrome in the past 3 months
- People whose muscle pain symptoms have been present for less than 3 months
- People who are pregnant, or who have another acute or ongoing health condition that could make it difficult to interpret the study results clearly
