- People who have any other neurodegenerative (brain-degenerating) disease or a seizure disorder.
- People who are known to have a sensitivity or allergic reaction to the products being investigated in this trial.
- People who have been diagnosed with cancer within the past 5 years, or who currently have a cancer diagnosis.
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who could become pregnant and are not using contraception or plan to conceive during the study.
- People whose resting blood pressure is very high — specifically, a top number (systolic) above 180 mmHg or a bottom number (diastolic) above 110 mmHg at the screening visit.
- People with a history of substance misuse, including drugs, heavy alcohol use, or smoking within the last 5 years.
- People with a serious illness or any other condition that, in the opinion of the trial doctor, could affect their safety or ability to complete the study.
