Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 35 or higher who report that they snore
- People who have a bed partner able to answer questions about their snoring
- People who have already had a sleep study showing either no sleep apnea, or only mild sleep apnea (meaning the sleep study recorded fewer than 15 breathing interruptions per hour)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are allergic to silicone mouth tape
- People with a chronic (long-term) lung disease
- People with facial hair that would prevent mouth tape from sticking properly
- People with significantly enlarged tonsils (Grade 3 or higher, confirm with trial site)
- People who have previously had surgery on the roof of the mouth (palate) or tongue
- People who have any condition that causes them to under-breathe, either long-term or short-term
- People who are unable to comfortably breathe through their nose while wearing the mouth tape for at least 3 minutes
- People who are pregnant
