Who may be able to join
- Women aged between 35 and 60 years who are considered at high risk of developing breast cancer, either already being cared for at a participating centre or referred through an early diagnosis programme
- Women whose estimated risk of developing breast cancer in the next 5 years is 5% or higher, as calculated using one of several accepted risk assessment tools (confirm with trial site which tool applies)
- Women whose 10-year breast cancer risk is assessed as greater than 10% using recognised risk calculation models such as Tyrer-Cuzick IBIS, BOADICEA, or BCSC
- Women who previously took part in the MyPeBS study and were classified as very high risk, and who have finished the active follow-up period of that study
- Women who have previously had radiation therapy directed at the chest area

- People with a previous diagnosis of breast cancer
- People who are currently pregnant
- People who have had both breasts surgically removed (bilateral mastectomy)
- People with psychiatric or other conditions that may make it difficult to follow the trial's requirements and attend follow-up appointments
- People who are not willing or able to remain in the trial for at least 2.5 years
- People who are unable to understand the trial information or to give or decline informed consent freely
