Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with meningitis caused by a fungus called Cryptococcus, confirmed by a specific test on fluid from around the spine (called a CSF CrAg test)
- People who are living with HIV
- People who are able to understand and agree to take part by signing a consent form

- People who are unlikely to be able to attend clinic appointments regularly
- People who are currently receiving chemotherapy or steroid medications (corticosteroids)
- People who are currently receiving kidney dialysis, or who are known to have scarring of the liver (cirrhosis)
- People who are suspected to have a condition called Paradoxical IRIS, where the immune system causes inflammation as it recovers (confirm with trial site)
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have previously taken an experimental study drug in another trial
- People with any other health condition that could make participation unsafe or interfere with trial assessments
- People who do not meet additional eligibility requirements specific to the study drug being tested in their location (confirm with trial site)
