- You have been diagnosed with swelling (lymphedema) in one arm following breast cancer surgery
- A doctor has confirmed your lymphedema is at stage 2
- You are willing to voluntarily agree to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You do not wish to participate in the study
- Your arm swelling is caused by a condition you were born with, or you have swelling in both arms
- You currently have an active skin or tissue infection in the affected arm
- You have a diagnosed mental health condition or a condition affecting memory and thinking
- You are unable to communicate or work cooperatively with the study team
- You have a blood clot in a deep vein, poor blood flow in the arm, or a condition unrelated to lymphedema that causes swelling (such as kidney failure, liver failure, or heart failure)
- You are currently taking sleeping tablets or antidepressant medication
