Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are older than 18 years of age
- People who were diagnosed with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) more than 6 months before joining the study
- People who have had a specific type of heart scan (called a CMR scan) performed more than 6 months after their myocarditis diagnosis
- People who are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are under 18 years of age
- People who are pregnant
- People who have other heart structural problems (such as heart conditions present from birth or other non-related heart disease)
- People who currently have active myocarditis (currently ongoing heart inflammation)
- People whose myocarditis diagnosis was less than 6 months ago
- People who have previously had documented serious heart rhythm problems originating in the lower chambers of the heart
- People for whom the required heart scan (called an LGE-CMR scan) is not possible or is medically inadvisable
- People who are currently taking part in other experimental treatment studies
- People whose medical situation, location, or personal circumstances would make taking part in the study difficult, or who are unable or unwilling to sign a written consent form
