Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older who are willing and able to give informed consent and take part as required by the study guidelines
- People who are currently in hospital due to a planned or unplanned heart or blood vessel disease event, or who have a known diagnosis of hardening or narrowing of the arteries
- People who have access to a smartphone or tablet
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have any condition or situation that the study doctor believes could put them at significant risk, affect the study results, or make it difficult for them to take part — this includes (but is not limited to): cognitive impairment, seizure disorders, active thoughts or plans of suicide, substance or alcohol dependence, psychotic illness, major depression, bipolar disorder, currently receiving psychological treatment, or regularly working night shifts
- People with a short life expectancy (less than 12 months) due to severe organ disease (such as advanced lung disease or advanced kidney disease) or cancer
- People who currently have significant symptoms of anxiety or depression, as measured by a specific screening tool called the HADS questionnaire (confirm with trial site)
- People who are not able to understand Norwegian
