Who might be able to join this trial:
- You receive your healthcare at one of the clinics taking part in this study.
- You are between 45 and 75 years old.
- You are not up to date with colorectal cancer (bowel cancer) screening — for example, you have not had a colonoscopy in the last 10 years or a stool blood test in the last 12 months.
- You have never been tested for Hepatitis C (a liver infection spread through blood contact).
- You can read, write, and understand English or Spanish.
- You have never been diagnosed with colorectal cancer and do not currently have symptoms such as unexplained rectal bleeding or ongoing stomach pain or bloating.
- You are considered average risk for colorectal cancer — meaning you do not have an inherited condition that raises your risk and do not have a strong family history of colorectal cancer.
- You do not currently have any symptoms of Hepatitis C.
- If you are taking part in the main part of the study, you are willing and able to fill out surveys and take part in the program activities.
- If you are taking part in an interview portion, you are willing to do a remote interview by phone or video call (such as Zoom).
- If you are taking part in an interview, you are willing to have the conversation audio recorded.
- If you are being interviewed but did not take part in the main program, you have had a clinic visit within the past two months.
- You are able to give your informed consent to take part in the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- Anyone who does not meet all of the requirements listed above will not be eligible to take part.
