Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia syndrome (based on 2016 diagnostic criteria)
- Your average pain level is at least 4 out of 10 on a pain scale
- Your fibromyalgia treatment has stayed the same for the past 3 months and you are not planning to change it during the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have any condition that makes a brain stimulation treatment called TMS unsafe for you, such as metal implants in your body, a heart pacemaker, epilepsy, or a history of brain surgery (confirm with trial site)
- You have or have had cancer
- You have a rheumatic disease affecting your whole body (such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
- You have a serious bone or joint problem that limits your everyday movement, such as difficulty walking, limited joint mobility from a past fracture, a prosthetic limb, or nerve/tendon injuries
- You have a serious neurological (brain or nerve) condition, such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, a history of epilepsy, a brain aneurysm, or a past head injury that caused loss of consciousness
- You have an addiction to alcohol or drugs
- You have a history of major depression, a personality disorder, or psychosis
- You have previously received TMS (brain stimulation) treatment
- You are currently taking, or have taken in the last 4 weeks, certain medications such as benzodiazepines, gabapentin, pregabalin, or anti-seizure drugs that could interfere with the treatment (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
