Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years who are willing to give written agreement to participate
- People who were hospitalised at Drammen Hospital between 2021 and 2024 with a heart attack, confirmed narrowing of the heart's arteries, or who had a procedure to reopen blocked heart arteries
- People who score positively for insomnia on a specific questionnaire called the Bergen Insomnia Score
- People who completed at least 10 out of 14 daily sleep diary entries during the assessment period before being assigned to a study group
Who may not be able to join:
- People with moderate or severe memory or thinking difficulties, epilepsy or seizure conditions, active thoughts of suicide, dependence on alcohol or other substances, psychotic illness, major depression, or bipolar disorder
- People currently receiving other psychological treatments, or who regularly work night shifts
- People with nerve or muscle conditions that limit movement in their dominant arm, as this could affect how a wrist-worn sleep-tracking device records data
- People with a diagnosis of heart failure recorded in hospital records, or a specific blood marker result above a certain level (confirm with trial site)
- People with a life expectancy of less than 12 months due to serious lung disease, advanced kidney disease, or cancer
- People who are not able to understand Norwegian
- People who have another significant sleep disorder, as identified through a structured clinical interview for sleep disorders
- People who have already been diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (a condition where breathing repeatedly stops during sleep) and are not being treated for it, people currently being assessed for this condition, or people who score 5 or higher on a standard screening questionnaire for this condition
