Who may be able to join
- People aged between 60 and 90 years old (male or female).
- People who have come to the Department of Psychiatry at St. Vincent's Hospital with memory or thinking problems as their main concern.
- People who are able to have brain imaging scans, including a brain MRI and an amyloid PET CT scan.
- People who are able to complete a set of memory and thinking tests (such as standard cognitive assessment tools used in dementia research).
- People who are able to complete physical tests at the hospital's Smart Center, including a short physical performance test and a body composition scan to check for muscle loss.
- People who are taking certain medications for memory or thinking (acetylcholinesterase inhibitors or NMDA receptor antagonists) and have been on the same dose and schedule for more than 3 months before the screening date.
- People who are taking other medications for memory, thinking, or ongoing health conditions (such as antidepressants, blood pressure medication, diabetes medication, cholesterol medication, or thyroid medication) and have been on the same dose and schedule for more than 1 month before the screening date.
- People who can read and understand the consent form and answer survey questions in the study's language.
Who may not be able to join

- People who have a progressive mental health or neurological condition, including a history of psychotic disorders (such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or related conditions), current major depression with psychotic symptoms, organic mental disorders, epilepsy or seizure disorders, or current eating disorders or obsessive-compulsive disorder.
- People who have an unstable or serious medical condition.
- People who have severe snoring, REM sleep behaviour disorder, or narcolepsy.
- People who are unable to read.
- People who the trial investigators believe would not be able to follow the requirements of the study.
- People who have taken sleeping pills within 2 weeks before the screening date.
