Who may be able to join
- Adults over 18 years old who are being monitored in the mental health services of the Castellón province and have been diagnosed with both major depression and a substance use disorder.
- People whose depression has not responded to two or more different medication treatments, where those treatments were completed properly.
- People who agree to and sign an informed consent form.
Who may not be able to join

- People who have been diagnosed with a space-occupying lesion in the brain (such as a tumour or similar growth).
- People who have tinnitus (ringing or noise in the ears).
- People who are confirmed to be pregnant; if pregnancy is suspected, the trial site will request a test.
- People who have a metal object in their body or an implanted medical device, with the exception of dental materials.
