Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have had at least two of these symptoms for 12 weeks or more: blocked nose, runny nose, loss of smell, or pain/pressure in the face
- A camera examination of your nose has shown polyps (small growths) on both sides of your nasal passages
- A smell test shows your sense of smell is below a certain level, and you also feel your smell has reduced
- A blood test shows you have a higher than normal level of a type of white blood cell called eosinophils (a sign of certain types of inflammation)
- You have been using a nasal steroid spray consistently for at least 4 weeks
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently a smoker
- You have a condition that affects your immune system, either from birth or developed later in life
- You have a condition affecting the tiny hairs in your airways, such as cystic fibrosis or primary ciliary dyskinesia (confirm with trial site)
- You have had, or currently have, a cancerous growth in your nose or sinuses
- You are younger than 18 or older than 70 years of age
- You are unable to give your own consent to take part in the trial
- You have used steroid tablets, injections, or other systemic steroids within the 4 weeks before your first visit
- You have used antibiotic tablets, injections, or antibiotic nasal treatments within the 4 weeks before your first visit
