Who may be able to join

  • High school students aged 13 and older who are enrolled at Mtshabezi or Matopo High Schools in the Gwanda and Matobo Rural Districts during the five-year project period.

Who may not be able to join

  • Children under the age of 13 who are not enrolled in high school and are not seeking prenatal, post-partum, or family planning services at the selected health facilities during the project period.

  • Anyone who a doctor or midwife has determined should not participate due to a known medical condition that could cause harm to the participant or staff.
  • Anyone who is unable to understand and respond to the questions being asked.
  • Anyone with proof of having already received the relevant vaccinations will not be eligible for the vaccination part of this study.
